This has been emailed to both campains as well as news media. I am betting both will ignore it and I am betting the news media will also ignore this challenge.

Type 2 diabetes is costing the US economy 1.3 trillion dollars. Just the treatment of type 2 diabetes is costing 168 billion dollars. Type 2 diabetes is just the most prominent of a cluster of diseases that are on the rise and have in common inflammation and can be controlled or greatly improved by diet.

Both of you are talking about the economy and the health care issue. There is an easy way for either or both of you to do something to solve the type 2 diabetes issue which will have a huge impact on the economy.  What would happen if the 1.3 trillion dollar cost to the economy for type 2 diabetes and the 168 billion dollar cost of treating type 2 diabetes were reduced by 80%?

It may sound overwhelming but there is a possible simple answer with enormous consequences. I had to go to the internet to find answers for myself that have resulted in reversal of my type 2 diabetes symptoms. I am offering what I had to learn to anyone willing to read and use what I have to offer. This problem is best dealt with by encouraging what used to be considered American values of self reliance, discipline and self responsibility.

You both may be asking how you can do anything about this problem. I am offering a solution that requires very little from either of you. As a 100% disabled US Vietnam Veteran I am doing all I can and doing it mostly from my disability income.

What you can do is:       

• Endorse Diabetic-Diet-Secrets.com and help build credibility so others can more easily trust what they find on my site.
• Help me make my book more available to more Americans. I have written a book on controlling type 2 diabetes with diet. I offer it at what it cost to print it or will license it to the US printing office to make available through Medicaid, medicare, Veteran's Administration or any other source. • Help me find the doctors, scientist or other qualified people to help me conduct a scientific study of the efficacy of what I am offering and the method of offering it to the public. I am setting up DiabeticSelfHelp.com to conduct this study.
• Help me find a 501c non-profit organization that I can partner with to make more resources available such as PSAs, Google Grants for advertising and the other things available to non-profits to be able to reach more people.
• Post links from your high traffic websites and pages that will help more americans find answers that can help them improve their health and reduce health care costs to the US healthcare system.

I was a badly out of control type 2 diabetic when I was diagnosed. I am now an extremely well controlled type 2 diabetic trying to help others achieve what I have achieved. I am doing all I can with the resources available to me from my disability compensation and the small amount of money I get from site sponsors and affiliate sales. I am challenging you both to help with real change that will help the economy, reduce health care delivery cost, and greatly improve the lives and health of millions of Americans. What I am asking will cost you nothing and possibly help millions.
